What we do
Rolled Up produces, creates, performs and tours professional theatre, film and arts projects by, with and for young people as performers, creators and audience members.
What is produced is high quality projects that are engaging, relatable, make a difference, pose questions and empower young voices to be heard. This in turn allows theatre and the arts to be more accessible to a wider and diverse audience.
Our values
Empowerment
At the heart of Rolled Up is young people, their views, thoughts and imaginations. These are then the base from which all the productions are created.
Productions are then created using a range of professionals from a variety of fields from writers, directors, actors, animators, film makers, theatre creators/makers, theatre companies, computer coders, designers, to name but a few.
Creativity
By applying creative thinking to any challenge, we can help to build a more dynamic future together and lean in to change.
All the productions and projects work to maintains a legacy which will continue to promote empowerment.
Integrity
We believe in transparency and are an organisation rooted in honesty, clear about our principles and expect the same from all of those who work for us or with us.
Responsibility
We take action in our responsibility of the impact the productions, projects and tours have on the environment. We will strive to produce the minimum amount of carbon and when we do we will off set it by planting of trees with “Trees for Life” and rewind the Scottish Highlands.

Theatre and Arts offers an invitation to feel, think and see things differently. This continually happens for me and I have had the pleasure in witnessing and being part of this journey for other people.
This is why I strive to do what I do.
Not to change anyone but to pose questions and make an invitation to see and feel things differently to what we think we know.
As a theatre maker and youth worker I have a proven track record of designing and delivering projects that are of high quality, relatable and make a difference. In my previous role at Fast Forward as Theatre and Arts Project Director I designed and delivered 12 tours to over 90,000 young people in Scottish High Schools, theatres and youth work environments.
Rolled Up productions gives an avenue of expression and a voice to young people and it is a privilege to be part of that journey.
The future potential of Rolled Up is something that excites me both in what productions will be created and what impact they could have.
